Us West Coast Canadians know at least 1 person who owns a home in Phoenix, am I wrong? This desert town has cheap flights and hot weather nearly all year round. Although there isn't a beach/ocean there's still plenty of unique things to do and tons of thrilling day trips.
Things to do:
- Desert Botanical Gardens, who knew there were so many different types of cactus that they made a garden out of them. If you go at night too they have a lightshow! Tickets cost $12 per person for entry.
- Top Golf, this is becoming a new hot thing on the market. With Phoenix being known for it's golfing putting a top golf here was genius. Costs between $25-$45 depending on the time of day you go.
- Goldfield Ghost Town, sadly on weekends though it's flooding with tourists. Entry to this site is .. FREE plus enjoy a gun show, shooting range, mini zip line and more.
- CamelBack Mountain, this hike is definitely the most popular thing do here, however it does half a beautiful view just remember to drink plenty of water
- Oldtown Scottsdale is where the nightlife happens! Visit heaps of different restaurants and bars as well as get some shopping in during the day

- Butters Pancakes and Cafe: Indulge numerous gourmet pancakes
- Snooze AM Eatery: Get a... wait for it... PANCAKE FLIGHT
- Liberty Market: You'll gain 40+ pounds but worth it
- Beckett's Table: Don't let the outside of this restaurant fool you, the inside is a gem
- Undertow: Hidden underneath a coffee shop this place is a must see!
- Dutchbros: Let you inner white girl shine as you order coffee from this drive in
