Maui

Maui is one of the more popular Hawaiian Islands and it's very understandable why. There are endless things to do on the island and it's SO BIG! Maui is considered the sleepy island so if you were looking for more of a nightlife I'd recommend checking out Oahu since everything here closes at 10pm latest. From the famous 'Road to Hana' to the beaches along Kaanapli and everything in between you'll never get a bad view.

There's a few different areas on the island that you must explore:

- Lahaina: Gives off New Orleans vibes, surfer town

- Paia: Hippie town, close to very good surf beaches & road to Hana

- Kaanapali: Relaxing, lots of beaches

- Kihei/Wailea: More expensive, beautiful beaches

Best places to stay (on a budget):

- Tiki Beach Hostel (Lahaina)

Best places to eat:

- Captain Jacks (Lahaina)

- Maui Brewing Co (Lahaina & Kaanapli)

- Baya Bowls (Lahaina)

- Mama's Fish House (Paia)

- Moku Roots (Lahaina)

Best beaches:

Road To Hana

The famous winding road to Hana is a MUST DO! You can do it as a day-trip or go and spend the night in Hana then slowly make your way back the next day. The road is busy and you have to use caution since there's plenty of blind spots and one lane bridges/streets. There are tons of spots you must see/explore along the way:

- Twin Falls

- Huelo Lookout

- Honomanu Bay

- Keanae Lookout

- Upper Waikani Falls

- Pua'a Ka'a Falls

- Hanawi Falls

- Wailua Falls

There are plenty of things to do on this island, a week is barely enough time! The Hawaiian people are warm but PLEASE continue to keep Hawaii beautiful and clean up after yourself always.
